Nadia now weighs 20 lbs 8 ounces (75%ile), is 29 1/2 inches tall (80%ile) and 17 3/4 inch head circumference (80%ile). She's completely healthy with perfect reports on ears and lungs. Dr. Middlebooks said she is working on 4 teeth on the top - none have broken the skin yet but you can see the white through the gum.
This morning she blew us kisses - something we didn't teach her, so we assume that's thanks to Miss Sarahbeth. She is letting go more and more and standing up longer unsupported. She has started cruising the furniture and moving from one thing to another without dropping to her knees. She's just started being a real fan of suffed animals - she just laughs and hugs them tight. She still loves puppets; they always get a belly laugh! She will match a pitch when I sing a particular note "ahh" - she'll match it almost every time she's in a singing mood. She likes to clap and make sounds and has just learned to "click" with her tongue so she does it all day long. She has also started throwing any toy behind her over her shoulder when she's done with it - so all day, she'll pick things up and toss them behind her!
Last night she went to her first minor league baseball game. She made it a couple innings but preferred to walk around rather than sit in the stands...she gets that love of ball (or lack thereof) from her mom... so I was happy to have an excuse to leave!
Tuesday we took her to get her passport! Andy had to hold her infront of the white screen for the picture - she grinned! We expedited it so that it will be here in a few weeks - in time for our vacation cruise! Andy and I have cruised every year since our honeymoon and thought this year we wouldn't since we had a baby, but on a last minute whim, we decided we really wanted to cruise, found a deal, booked it and can't wait to take our sweet girl to the Bahamas Labor Day week!
