Nadia continues to love bathtime and the water. She stands by the tub and watches the water fill up and then watches as it goes down the drain while we dry her off.

She's eating most everything that we do these days. She especially loves all the fruits - cantelope, bananas, watermelon, strawberries, peaches, apples, blueberries and pears! She isn't partial to fruits though and eats every vegetable we offer as well as chicken, ground beef, turkey and ham. She even ate a soft taco last week! She is now able to pick up everything and get it to her mouth with ease. Yesterday we loaded her fork with watermelon and handed it to her. She put it in her mouth, closed her lips and pulled it out all by herself! Today she fed herself banana bites with a fork! She's so advanced! While she'd prefer to feed herself everything at every meal, we have to be selective about when we let her get totally involved in the feeding because it is sooo messy and always requires a bath immediately thereafter!

First painted toe nails! It was a good thing this was a very neutral color as being still wasn't really in her plans while I painted.

Wearing the dress I made - I couldn't resist the bloomers view!

She is crawling all over now. For a few days she was cautious with her crawling and wouldn't go out of my sight, but she's overcome that now and will go wherever she chooses - and quickly! She is also pulling up - on the couch, on the piano bench, in her bed, on her air table toy and of course on us. She loves to be standing up but is quite proud of herself when she gets to standing all by herself. Tonight the cabinet door to the pantry was open and she crawled over and reached into the cabinet and pulled out the Cheerios box! So Andy opened it for her and they shared some Cheerios together right there sitting on the floor.
She has also started really loving books. She will choose a book over lots of other toys. She will go over to the books, choose one and push it toward us until we pick it up, get her settled in our lap and read. She turns all the pages and is starting to anticipate certain things in some books we read over and over. She still loves to put her fingers in any hole, any small space, any tiny crack she can find - so The Very Hungry Caterpillar book is a favorite.
This week while Andy was at camp, she knew he was gone but couldn't figure out where he was. She would go through the house looking for him calling "Da-da-da." When he came home Friday, we met the bus and she went right to him, grabbed him tight around the neck and gave him hugs and kisses and said "Da-da-da" as if on cue. It was a sweet reunion moment.
